The Wild Felid Advocacy Center of Washington was founded by Shelleen and Mark Mathews in 2004, and received nonprofit status in 2006. Shelleen began her work with wild cats in 1971. WFAC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit run by a volunteer Board of Directors.
